Music Makes Us

I swear every time I turn around this band is getting more and more popular. They made it to the hyped section of last.fm which made me decide now is as good of time as any to post this album. Citay is a project from ex-Piano Magic man Ezra Feinberg and Tim Green from Drag City’s The Fucking Champs. If you have heard of it at all, you know Citay’s self-titled debut as one of the wiser indie releases of ’06. The San Franciscan group mixed one early-’70s idea (grand, Zep-style English epics) with another (L.A. folk rock), fairly doubling up on the enchantment.
